Softness has a place of origin

Since 1958 in Cagli, Lanificio Cariaggi has spun cashmere, vicuña and superfine wools for international luxury.

Aurelio Cariaggi founded the mill in 1958 in the Apennines of the Marche. Within a few decades Cagli became a reference address for anyone seeking cashmere yarns, woollen-spun and worsted, of the highest quality. The family still leads the company; since 2022 Brunello Cucinelli, a long-standing client, has held a 43% stake.

The difference is felt by touch. Fibres selected at source, starting with cashmere from Central Asia, worked with technology built to measure and with an environmental commitment certified since 2006. The result is compact, soft and durable yarns that keep their beauty over time.
