Since 1973 Lanificio Drago has woven worsteds for tailoring in Biella, up to the extremely rare Super 210’s.
Umberto and Laura Drago founded the company in 1973 in Lessona, in the heart of the Biella district. Twenty years later their children Paolo and Daniela turned it into an integrated mill that today produces more than 1.7 million metres of cloth a year in-house. Every piece is traceable.
The wools come from the finest areas of Australia and New Zealand, and fineness is the trait that sets the house apart. From Super 130’s for everyday suits to Super 180’s, up to Super 210’s at 13.25 microns, reserved for the most exclusive tailored and ceremonial suits.
