Lanificio F.lli Cerruti dal 1881
Biella · since 1881
Biella · since 1881
On the banks of the Cervo, a complete production cycle serving an idea of elegance that set the standard.
The Cerruti brothers founded the mill in 1881 on the Cervo stream in Biella, where it still stands. In 1951 Nino Cerruti joined the company and history changed: he was the first cloth maker to take his work into men’s ready-to-wear, with a deconstructed elegance built on a simple premise, an extraordinary cloth. Since 2022 the mill has been part of Gruppo Piacenza.
Every stage happens in-house: wool selection, spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing. That control gives Cerruti fabrics their identity: saturated colours, subtle mélanges and full handles a tailor recognises at first touch.
