Since 1796 Thomas Mason has woven shirting cottons that have dressed two centuries of British elegance.
Thomas Mason was born in England in 1796, at the height of the Industrial Revolution, among the first mills devoted entirely to cotton shirting. West End shirtmakers soon made it a reference. In 1992 the brand joined the Albini Group, which brought weaving to Italy while safeguarding its identity.
The secret lies in the yarn: extra-long-staple cottons twisted two-ply, for fabrics that are strong, smooth and lustrous. The style draws on an archive of more than 700 volumes of designs, the source of stripes, checks and patterns with that eccentric touch that belongs only to England.
